Big Island officials are investigating an incident which took place near Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park on Thursday, March 1. Around 5.50am, a male pedestrian was struck by a pumping truck, before being pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, despite the best efforts of a female passerby and the emergency services.
